I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and have broad experience in general orthopaedics but am especially interested in upper limb trauma and elective surgery. I have special interest in rheumatoid upper limb surgery. I am available for referral of upper limb problems including shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist including joint replacement. I commenced working at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust in 2004 as a consultant in trauma and orthopaedics.
I graduated from India and obtained MS (orthopaedics) in 1991, following that I completed SpR training in orthopaedics in the North West and Yorkshire region. My final year of SpR training was at Hull. During my training I developed an interest in upper limb surgery and following completion of training I worked as an Upper Limb Fellow at Wrightington Hospital (home of the Charnley hip replacement) for one year.
