I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon since 2006, specialising in hip and knee replacement surgery at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital, where I welcome patients from Hull, East Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and beyond. I perform both primary (first-time) and complex revision hip replacements, offering expert, patient-focused care with excellent clinical outcomes.
My expertise in managing complex hip conditions is underpinned by my background as a specialist pelvic and acetabular trauma surgeon, reconstructing severely damaged pelvises and hip sockets. I am the only surgeon providing this highly specialised service across East Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire, and the eastern half of North Yorkshire, and I also treat patients with pregnancy-related pelvic conditions.
In knee surgery, I offer patient-specific knee replacements, using advanced imaging to deliver a tailored, “made to measure” approach that improves fit, function and recovery. My extensive experience has been shaped through international training in Yorkshire (UK), Calgary (Canada), Paris (France) and Bhopa (India)l, ensuring I bring the latest evidence based techniques to my practice.
My areas of expertise include the management of lower limb fractures, primary and revision hip replacement surgery, and complex pelvic and acetabular stabilisation and reconstruction, alongside advanced knee replacement procedures tailored to each patient’s individual anatomy and needs.
