This is a FREE virtual online health education seminar for general practitioners, practice nurses and other allied health professionals.

Spire Hull and East Riding is beyond happy to invite you to an educational session that will really get your heart pumping! Dr Matt Balerdi, consultant cardiologist, will be providing a presentation on early warning signs and referral indicators for cardiological conditions as a a part of recognising Heart Month. In addtion to this, he'll be covering the services he can provide for paediatric and young persons cases in cardiology.

Dr Balerdi specialises in all aspects of cardiac ultrasounds, from routine scans from the chest to stress echocardiography and endoscopic ultrasound. He also performs cardiac and coronary CT scans, along with supporting the general cardiology service across the region and helping improve the care of congential heart diseases, inherited cardiac condition patients and those with heart disease in pregnancy. Unique to the area, Dr Balerdi provides private cardiac services for young persons age16-18.

This virtual session will run over a lunchtime, from 13:00 to 14:00, and will be held over MSTeams. You can earn CPD points by attending this event.

This session is tailored for a UK GP and HCP audience.
