I would like to say how grateful I am to have had my knee operation at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital. From the time of my first appointment Mr Ramaswamy never cancelled an appointment, in fact I had my operation two weeks earlier, this was such a relief for me. I was treated with respect and great care by all, such a pleasure to be treated as a person and not a number or statistic of the government number scheme! It took three months of cancellations before my other knee was operated on previously.
The difference between hospitals is amazing. The aftercare I am receiving is next to none, so far I actually saw Mr Ramaswamy the next morning after my operation, he explained what had been done to my knee - a remarkable man. I’ve had a follow up appointment with Mr Ramaswamy already (it took nine months before I saw the last consultants). The physio department is very efficient. Thank you once again for the treatment I received and still receiving, no cancelled appointments - truly remarkable.
