About our Children and Young People Service

At Spire Hull and East Hospital we offer private children’s services for children and young people, providing specialist advice, diagnosis and treatment from our team of paediatric consultants, supported by our dedicated team of highly experienced and caring specialist children’s nurses.

If your child is missing school with recurrent health problems or if it is taking too long to receive the treatment your child needs, you can see a consultant here privately and promptly.

We offer outpatient consultations and surgical inpatient and daycase care for children over 3 years.

Our specialists treat children for a wide range of conditions.

The nursing team includes specialist paediatric nurses who are experts in their field and provide dedicated care for the duration of your child’s visit to our hospital.

We know that when children need to come in to hospital, it can be an anxious time for the whole family – that’s why we offer children and their families an all-important opportunity to visit the hospital prior to admission, become familiar with the surroundings and meet the experts who will be involved in their care.
