I have been a doctor for more than 20 years and a consultant cardiologist since 2019. I specialise in all aspects of general and interventional cardiology.

I am an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of all aspects of coronary artery disease, ranging from microvascular angina and percutaneous treatment of coronary artery narrowing, using the latest state-of-the-art techniques, to post-heart attack risk profile optimisation.

To date I have performed over 5,000 diagnostic coronary angiograms and over 2,500 coronary angioplasties.

I completed a one-year fellowship in Glasgow at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital prior to my appointment as a consultant, and I am competent in all aspects of complex percutaneous coronary intervention, as well as invasive microvascular function testing.

I have been working at Leeds General Infirmary since 2021 and prior to this I was a consultant at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

I am also very active in research and have published more than 100 scientific papers to date. I am well versed with the latest guidelines and I still collaborate actively with researchers nationally and internationally. I am currently the PCI research lead at Leeds General Infirmary.
