I am a consultant ophthalmic surgeon, cataract and vitreoretinal specialist at Spire Leeds Hospital and Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust.
My areas of interest include: vitrectomy, cataract surgery, complex cataract surgery, surgical repair of complicated cataract surgery, vitreoretinal surgery, vitreoretinal diseases, retinal tears (laser and cryotherapy retinopexy), laser, floaters, epiretinal membrane, vitreomacular traction, macular hole, retinal detachment, diabetic eye disease (retinopathy), age-related macular degeneration, eye trauma, general ophthalmology, YAG laser capsulotomy, YAG laser peripheral iridotomy, laser photocoagulation.
I graduated from the University of Leeds School of Medicine in 2009 and then completed 7 years of ophthalmic training at the world-renowned Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology, Glasgow followed by a one year advanced medical training vitreoretinal fellowship (AMTF) in Glasgow.

In my spare time I enjoy hiking in the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District, travelling and reading. I am a keen sportsman, playing tennis and badminton.
