MA, MB BChir, FRCP, DM
I studied pre-clinical medicine at Oxford University and graduated with a first class degree. Thereafter, I studied clinical medicine at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.
Upon completing general professional training in general (internal) medicine in Cambridge, I moved to London for specialist training in dermatology. I was a specialist registrar at the St Johns Institute of Dermatology and Kings College Hospital. I also spent two years in research at the St Johns Institute, investigating autoimmune blistering disorders. This led to a doctorate thesis and I was awarded a DM degree from Oxford University in 2002.
I was appointed Consultant Dermatologist at University Hospitals of Leicester in 2002. I am also a section editor for the British Journal of Dermatology.
