I am a Consultant Geriatrician and work clinically at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. I have trained and worked throughout the East Midlands since qualifying in 2009.
I specialise in the care of older people and particularly, those with Parkinson’s disease and related conditions. I also have expertise in managing patients with multiple health issues, falls, frailty, dementia and cognitive concerns. Having also as qualified as a physiotherapist in 2001, I have an in-depth appreciation of rehabilitation, especially in older people.
I am the Parkinson’s disease lead for University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. I am also a College Tutor for the Royal College of Physicians (London).
