I am a Consultant Dermatologist at University Hospitals of Leicester. I qualified from Leicester Medical School in 2008 and completed my specialist training in Dermatology in the West and East Midlands in 2019.
I perform dermatological surgery and have a variety of procedures that I offer for symptomatic benign growths and for the treatment of skin cancers. I also perform cryotherapy and administer intralesional steroid injections where indicated.
I am passionate about embracing digital solutions geared towards improving service and quality of dermatology care. I received national recognition on the implementation of a photo-sharing app to facilitate consultant led service in Dermatology at Leicester Hospitals.
My clinical and academic interests include complex medical dermatology with a specialist interest in inflammatory skin disease in adults and children. I am the Biologics Lead for Psoriasis in University Hospitals of Leicester driving psoriasis research locally.
I am fluent in Gujarati and Hindi and can consult effectively with patients who require a doctor familiar with their language without the need for a translator.
