I am a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at the University Hospitals of Leicester. I am dual trained in pain medicine and anaesthesia in a career spanning more than a decade in India and the United Kingdom. I have been awarded a fellowship in anaesthesia and pain medicine by the Royal College of Anaesthetists, London. My practice is evidence based, with a focus not only on clinical but also the biopsychosocial aspects which contributes to the overall pain experience. I offer individualised and holistic treatment which goes beyond medications and interventions. I promote involvement of a multidisciplinary team to manage complex chronic pain conditions.
My area of expertise includes ultrasound and X-ray guided pain procedures. I am a faculty at various national and international pain medicine courses and events.
