I am the British Menopause Society recognised menopause specialist and Gynaecology Consultant working in the University Hospitals of Leicester since January 2017. I am passionate about the menopause care and education for my patients.
I am the Lead for Menopause service and Education for University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. I run a very busy complex menopause clinic, the NHS dedicated Complex Menopause Clinic for the women of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland where I provide holistic and patient-centred care.
I am a FSRH (Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health), BMS (British Menopause Society) and RCOG (Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists) ATSM/ SITM Preceptor and recognised trainer for the menopause module. Additionally, I also provide advice and guidance services to GP colleagues about menopause queries. I regularly conduct menopause teachings for consultants, GPs, trainees and medical students. I engage with public awareness events and attend seminars and public meetings focussing on menopause care.
I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer and Under Graduate Lead for Reproductive health working for the University of Leicester Medical School and in 2018, I had been awarded FHEA(Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy) in 2022. I had the honour of receiving the Star Tutor Award, a feat I am very proud of.
Only in the NHS, I deliver a wide range of general gynaecology services as well as surgery.
