I am a consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon with a specialist interest in bowel cancer, advanced pelvic oncology, inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic floor and hernia surgery, with a particular emphasis on laparoscopic/keyhole surgery.
I treat all manner of general surgical and colorectal conditions. I also perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy, and regularly treat patients with perianal conditions, such as haemorrhoids, anal fissure, pilonidal sinus disease, and skin tags. I also have an interest in treating patients with faecal incontinence and rectal prolapse.
I graduated from University of Leicester Medical School and having been working as a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon in Leicester for over 3 years. I undertook most of my surgical training in Leicester along with a prestigious Royal College of Surgeons Fellowship at the John Goligher Unit in Leeds.
