Virtual consultations:
I have a special interest in the modern treatment of breast cancer, particularly in reconstruction after mastectomy as well as oncoplastic procedures allowing breast conserving surgery and an excellent cosmetic outcome in breast cancer patients. I am trained in a wide variety of procedures such as skin-sparing/reducing mastectomy, breast reduction, augmentation, mastopexy, sentinel node biopsy and various types of breast reconstruction.
I graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw in 1995 and continued my postgraduate training at University College London Hospital and the Royal Marsden Hospital. I obtained my PhD in minimally invasive surgery and was awarded an Oncoplastic Surgery Fellowship at the National Institute of Cancer in Milan, one of Europe's most prestigious breast cancer centres.
I was appointed to the role of Head of Service for Breast Surgery at Glenfield Hospital UHL in 2015.
I am actively involved in surgical training and regularly lecture on oncoplastic and reconstructive surgery both nationally and internationally.
If your appointment relates to cosmetic (breast implants, reduction or uplift), please contact Mr Krupa's secretary directly to book.
