Specialises in
I have been a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon in Leicester since October 2014, working with the multidisciplinary team locally to ensure the best cancer outcomes for my breast cancer patients. I offer a full range of modern surgical techniques to optimise their cosmetic outcomes, including implant-based breast reconstruction and working with my plastic surgical colleagues for free-flap reconstructions.
I specialise in breast surgery including both cancer surgery, surgery for benign breast conditions and cosmetic breast surgery.
I carry out around 200 operations annually, the majority of which are for breast cancer. I treat approximately 130 women with breast cancer each year with about 1 in every 5 women requiring a mastectomy choosing to have an immediate implant-based reconstruction.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Simon Pilgrim at Spire include:

COVID-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service at Spire Leicester Hospital.
