I provide a highly specialised Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Service using X-ray, MRI and Ultrasound in spine disorders, fractures, cancer imaging, hip, knee, shoulder and groin disorders. I work closely with the Orthopaedic and Groin Specialist surgeons to provide an image guided injection service using Ultrasound and X-ray for both diagnosis and transient therapy.
I perform spine imaging and minimally invasive augmentation such as Vertebroplasty and Radiofrequency Kyphoplasty in Leicester, a service I set up in the NHS in Leicester in 2006. All patients are pre-assessed with one to one Consultations and followed up with standardised patient outcome measures.
I use MRI and Ultrasound as specialist diagnostic tools in all manners of Rheumatologic and Orthopaedic disorders with Seronegative Spondyloarthropathy (SpA) MR imaging and ultrasound intervention paramount in my practice.
I practice as a Clinical Musculoskeletal Radiologist at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, using all imaging modalities in the investigation of musculoskeletal disorders.
My research interests are on maximising the utility of MRI in the diagnosis and treatment follow-up of SpA.
Due to my research and teaching interest, I have been awarded an Honorary Clinical Reader in Musculoskeletal Radiology by Loughborough University.

My family and the guitar are my hobbies in that order; with three young children who succeed in making whatever spare time I have, both exhausting and thoroughly enjoyable and a long-suffering wife who makes all the above possible. She endures my aspirations at being a Rock God (probably with selective hearing!).
