Fast diagnosis at our one-stop breast clinic

At our one-stop breast clinic you'll see an experienced consultant breast surgeon and have diagnostic tests in the same visit. This ensures your concerns are dealt with quickly without having a prolonged wait for results.

At the initial assessment, your consultant will discuss your concerns and take a full medical history. They will also carry out a breast examination to decide which diagnostic tests you will have, suited to your individual needs.

Outstanding Macmillan-accredited chemotherapy suite

We work closely with cancer partners throughout the Midlands and our dedicated Chemotherapy Suite has been awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark^® (MQEM), assessed using criteria shaped by people affected by cancer. As holders of the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark we are recognised by Macmillan as being a place that is welcoming and accessible to all; that we respect your privacy and dignity, support your comfort and wellbeing, give you choice and personal control and listen to your voice.

Our clean, modern and well-equipped Chemotherapy Suite is staffed by our expert and caring specialists who will be there to support you every step of the way - even after your treatment has finished. The Chemotherapy Suite has its own private consulting room, six individual pods affording a high level of privacy, six beds and a spacious, comfortable waiting area.

We provide a safe and streamlined service through our:

• Up to date technology and equipment
• On site pathology
• On site MRI and CT scanners, X-ray and ultrasound

Our chemotherapy service is consultant led and therefore the consultant oncologists review patients at each treatment and are available by phone at all times. The team consists of highly experienced oncology consultants and haematology consultants who all work at the Leicester Royal Infirmary in the NHS.

Supporting the oncologists are chemotherapy nurse specialists, chemotherapy nurses, chemotherapy trained pharmacists and consultants specialising in pain management. We have direct links with LOROS and the NHS trust for radiotherapy.
