Virtual consultations:
I specialise in all dermatological issues including treating skin cancer; melanoma and non-melanoma, the removal of benign skin lesions and paediatric dermatology. I also treat tropical dermatology, verrucas as well as hyperhidrosis to the feet.
I completed my postgraduate training towards the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP) at various centres in the UK and subsequently trained in Dermatology in the West Midlands.
I have received specialist accreditation in 2005 and have been a Consultant Dermatologist in Birmingham since. I provided a specialist dermatology service on the NHS to the people of North Birmingham through Good Hope Hospital until April 2008 and now through community clinics, in the same region successfully bringing this very care closer to patient’s homes. I moved back to Good Hope Hospital in April 2009 as the Clinical Lead and helped establish a new and dynamic dermatology department there. I also have NHS clinics at Solihull Hospital.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Dr Jaideep Bhat at Spire include:
Paediatrics - dermatology
COVID-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service at Spire Little Aston Hospital.
Vitiligo, drug allergy, skin problems in children.
Heart of England Foundation Trust (Good Hope and Solihull Hospitals)
I am married to a doctor who is a local GP and we have two lovely young children with whom I spend most of my spare time. I am a keen motoring and motorsport fan and follow the F1, GP2, Le Mans and superbike races through the season. I also enjoy travelling, yoga and films.
