I am skilled in all aspects of coronary intervention having worked in several high volume centres. I have broad experience in all aspects of general adult cardiology and hold a national accreditation in echocardiography (heart ultrasound scanning).
I am a graduate of the University of Birmingham and completed my training in Cardiology in the West Midlands. I was awarded an MD in 2004 for my research into infective endocarditis.
I have published widely on this subject and am a national expert in infective endocarditis treatment and prevention.

I enjoy sports and play squash competitively, I enjoy climbing hills. I summited Mount Kilimanjaro at over 5,900 metres last year and spend spare time on the hills of the Lake District, North Wales and the Scottish Highlands.
I am a father of two children which has kerbed my golf handicap; however I hope to return to improve upon this in later life.
