I graduated from Bristol University in 1993.
I have been a Consultant ENT surgeon since 2006. Working at University Hospitals Birmingham.
I am a member of the Head and Neck, Thyroid, Parathyroid and Airway Multi-Disciplinary Teams. I have run a dedicated Voice clinic since 2016.
I teach and train junior doctors, have published papers on ENT/Head and Neck disorders, and worked as a Trustee with Head and Neck Charity.
I was the surgical advisor to The National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) for the publication of guidelines on the management of benign Thyroid disorders published in 2019.
