I have been a full-time consultant in trauma and orthopaedics since August 1998. I provide specialist knee sports injury services (cruciate ligament repair and reconstruction, cartilage and instability surgery) in addition to hip and knee replacement services.
I practice general orthopaedics; hip and knee primary replacement surgery, common hand and feet operations, back pain assessment and conservative treatment and limb fracture surgery. I also provide options of osteotomy around the knee and unicompartmental replacement surgery in selected patients.
I have been based at Manor Teaching Hospital NHS Trust in Walsall, since 2000. I have a special interest in sports injury surgery including advanced arthroscopic knee surgery, ie. patellar instability and cruciate ligament reconstruction.
