I am a dedicated foot and ankle surgeon who treats all conditions from simple to complex, with no problem being too small. I treat the full spectrum of foot and ankle disorders and my philosophy is to maintain a pain free joint function and movement.
I have special interests in minimally invasive foot surgery, ankle and subtalar arthroscopy, arthroscopic fusion of the ankle and subtalar joint, hind foot minimally invasive correction of deformities, hind foot endoscopy and managing foot and ankle sports injuries.
I am currently practising as a foot and ankle consultant at University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.
I completed my higher surgical training in Orthopaedics at Alexandria University Hospitals. I was granted a Master Degree in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2006. In 2012 and on my first attempt, I cleared the Inter-collegiate Specialty Board exam FRCS (Trauma-Orth). In 2014, I was awarded a place on one of the most sought after and highly regarded advanced foot and ankle training fellowships at The Wirral University Teaching Hospitals. In 2015, I was appointed as a foot and ankle consultant in Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals.
I am also proud to be a member of the UHB foot and ankle society, which include foot and ankle peers in the region, where we aim for a multidisciplinary team approach for managing complex cases, hence ensuring high quality of care for our patients.
