I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon for nine years. I specialise in upper limb surgery and trauma with specific interests in shoulder instability, rotator cuff disorders and arthritis. I have a keen interest in arthritis of the thumb joint and offer all surgical treatments including replacement.
I specialise in upper limb disorders and arthroscopy of the upper limb. I perform shoulder and elbow replacement and have a particular interest in trapeziometacarpal (thumb joint) replacement.
To date, I have performed over 150 shoulder replacements and revision shoulder replacements. Over 1,000 shoulder arthroscopic procedures and over 20 thumb joint replacements. I have also performed 50 carpal tunnel decompressions per year and over 20 ulnar nerve decompressions.
I am currently clinical director of my department at Walsall Manor Hospital.
