I am a trained Physiotherapist with a special interests in chronic pain, chronic disease management, musculoskeletal injury and rehabilitation.
I graduated in 1999 from The University of the West of England and there after, I worked in the NHS for a number of years across medical, surgical, orthopaedics and neurology.
I then lived and worked in Queensland, Australia for 12 years, in a small rural town, leading the physiotherapy service across a region of 250km2. Here I was involved in many innovative service provision projects to overcome the challenges of geography and distance including telehealth, cross discipline work practices, hospital to home programs as well as leading the research and development project of an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner working in the Emergency Department as a First Contact Practitioner for orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
I have extensive experience across the lifespan from paediatric to geriatric medicine. Upon returning to the UK in 2016 I commenced work at Spire Perform Physiotherapy, where I have further developed my interest in all areas paediatric MSK medicine, I have a specific interest in management of younger adult hip pathology as well as maintaining my skills in neurology and gerontology.
In addition to my clinical role, as Outpatient Team Leader I have a strong passion for education and the clinical development less experienced members of the team.

Out of work, I can be found somewhere outdoors - either riding a horse or climbing a mountain with my dogs.
