The procedure was not as invasive as I imagined and for me, I experienced very little to no pain afterwards - I put this down to Dr El Gamal's experience and excellence.

While playing football I severely fell and twisted my ankle. After visiting A&E and using crutches for two weeks I thought it had repaired, but further down the line, I started to get pain around my ankle, loss of movement and range and even worse, it started affecting muscles higher up in my leg. My sporting career had ended and every day I was experiencing pain so I saw my GP but I was dissatisfied with the outcome. I sought a second opinion and paid for a consultation with Dr El Gamal. His expert opinion and skills quickly identified the problem and I knew I was on the right path.

On the day of the surgery his team and all the staff at Spire Little Aston, from the doctors and surgeons to the nurses and caterers, everyone was fantastic. I felt very well looked after by such an experienced, caring and efficient team. The surgery itself and the process actually felt quite relaxing. The quality of patient care was second to none and this really put me at ease. The procedure was not as invasive as I imagined and, for me, I experienced very little to no pain afterwards - I put this down to Dr El Gamal's experience and excellence.

My life has improved hugely, I have full range and movement again and look forward to strengthening muscles in my leg I haven’t used for some time. I’m now back fully exercising and cardio running and regaining a healthy lifestyle again, totally pain-free. I’m so happy and my mood and outlook on life has improved so much, I can’t thank Dr El Gamal and his team at the Spire enough. A big thank you once again!
