Since April 2018 my knee was getting progressively worse with regard to discomfort and pain when walking. Therefore it was having a significant bearing on my life, with a great degree of frustration in doing just normal activities.

With Mr Jain’s recommendation and explanation of this new technique, I had absolutely no hesitation in choosing the Mako assisted robotic procedure. He was first class, as were the aftercare nursing services.

The recovery process, in my opinion, has been superb. I have only encountered discomfort rather than pain, post operation. Three weeks post op and my Spire Physiotherapist was really happy with my progress, as was I. I am walking up and down stairs with one crutch rather than two, very comfortably and now walking without any crutches. I have not experienced any major post-operation pain, merely discomfort/stiffness. I am looking to return to driving at four weeks post op which I think is super.
