I graduated in the year 2000 and had my training in Ain Shams University Cairo, Egypt. I then went and worked as a Senior Lecturer of ORL-HNS in Ain Shams University and became the head of the Vestibular (balance) Unit. During that time, I finished my MSc and MD degrees in ENT.
In 2010, I received further training in the UK in different Hospitals; Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham and Aintree University Hospital, Liverpool.
Currently, I am an ENT and Skull Base Surgery Consultant in Aintree University Hospital, Liverpool with special interest in Otology, Balance and Skull Base surgery.
I am the head of vestibular (balance) Services in Aintree University Hospital Aintree, Liverpool.
