Mr Charles Coldrick

Physiotherapist

BSc

I started work at Spire Liverpool Hospital in January 2022. Since joining the team I have continued to use my knowledge and experience throughout all patients referred into us with a sustained interest in lower limb injuries and surgery – getting our patients back to their own goals, be it sport or functional activities.

I gained my Physiotherapy BSc at Sheffield Hallam University, achieving a First Class Honours Degree in May 2018. I started my career in Southport and Ormskirk Trust, initially rotating through six months of respiratory care consisting of ITU/HDU care as well as general respiratory wards. During this time I started working in MSK for a private company, building my knowledge of self-referral patients under the guidance of senior clinicians that had been working for over 20 years. I then secured a permanent post in Ormskirk Hospital as a Senior MSK Physiotherapist. Duties included working in a busy NHS MCAS service and working closely with consultants.

I also began to develop a specific interest in lower limb pathologies including ACL rehabilitation, appropriately treating our athletic population with the goal of returning them to their respective sports. Alongside this I was working at a semi-professional rugby club, helping to grow my understanding of the athletic population.
