I am a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery at Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust. I am the Lead for Foot and Ankle Surgery and the Lead for Trauma at the Trust.

I have over 15 years' experience and my practice includes routine trauma operating lists, foot and ankle operating lists, fracture and foot/ankle clinics each week.

Up to 100 patients are seen each week. I routinely act as a medico-legal expert with experience in case conferences and court appearances.

I qualified from the University of Sydney, Australia under a full medical scholarship and underwent training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery within the Mersey Region.

My research portfolio includes peer reviewed publications, a book chapter and presentations at international and national meetings. My research work has received high citations across the country and has impacted on the techniques of surgical correction of inter metatarsal angle following fusion of the first metatarsal joint in hallux valgus deformities. I remains active in research and training of junior doctors.
