I am a highly experienced plastic surgeon, with over 30 year’s experience in plastic surgery, with more than 16 years as a consultant. I have special interest and extensive experience in rhinoplasty surgery (nose job). My other interests include face and neck lift, blepharoplasty (eyelid lift), prominent ear correction, breast reductions , gynaecomastia surgery (male breast reduction) and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck).
I have special interest in rhinoplasty. Using reconstructive rhinoplasty techniques, spreader flaps and grafts to get the desired shape for patients. This ensures long lasting results.
In lower eyelid surgery I use mid facelift technique ensuring improvement in lower eyelid and the midface area.
In face lift I uses suspension and composite neck lift techniques to get a good and natural result for patients.
I also use Asplund’s Supero-Medial pedicle technique in breast reduction which allows a larger amount of reduction to be carried out and then getting a better shaped breast mount, avoiding a flat look.
Using a closed technique of anterior scoring with suturing when correcting prominent ears, which ensures consistent and good results with less damage to the cartilage.
Along with circumferential scar techniques with liposuction for grade three gynaecomastia correction, getting a good result with minimal scaring.
IÂ uses high lateral tension techniques for my tummy tuck operations, if needed, combined with liposuction. This gives a nice waist appearance and result.
I'm an NHS Consultant in Hand and Plastic Surgery and having obtained CCT in Plastic Surgery, I'm on the Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery of the General Medical Council. I also hold the Specialist FRCS (plastic surgery) qualification. I completed the Royal College of Surgeons Certification in aesthetic surgery and have completed a fellowships in aesthetic, microsurgery and hand surgery. Committed to further training and the latest techniques, I'm dedicated to delivering the highest level of practice for all of my patients. My commitment to plastics has given me the opportunity to train at some of the UK’s best institutions and units including Billericay, Chelmsford, Leeds, Glasgow, Preston and Liverpool. I am keenly interested in teaching and bringing more dedicated doctors and surgeons into the plastic surgery field. In the past I was the Training Programme Director in the Merseyside area, responsible for supporting and teaching plastic surgery trainees across the region. I was also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Liverpool University, teaching and examining undergraduate medical students.
I'm also an examiner for FRCS(Plast), an exit examination for plastic surgery trainees before they become consultants. All this indicates my passion and dedication to teaching and training future plastic surgeons ensuring best care for patients.

I take a keen interest in sports. I play cricket for Rainhill Cricket Club in the Sunday league. This helps me relax and keep fit. I spend a lot of time with my young daughter cycling and taking her to different places of interest.
