MB, BCh, MRCP (UK) (Dermatology)
I have over 20 years of experience of being a doctor, initially training as a general practitioner before retraining as a dermatologist, therefore aiming to provide holistic care for my patients.
I deal with all types of dermatology problems, including skin lesion analysis, skin cancer assessment, skin surgery, cryotherapy, injection of triamcinolone, paediatric dermatology and medical dermatology including managing conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne vulgaris, rosacea and hidradenitis suppurativa.
I have set up and lead a complex hidradenitis suppurativa clinic, lead a male genital dermatology clinic at Watford Hospital and am the paediatric dermatology lead at the Royal London Hospital.
I carry out dermatology surgery including hyfrecation and removal of benign lesions, biopsies and excision of malignant lesions. I also undertake cryotherapy for the treatment of, for example, warts and seborrhoeic keratoses. I perform triamcinolone injections for the treatment of keloid scars, acne cysts and alopecia areata.
In addition to my clinical work I am an honorary senior lecturer at Queen Mary University of London.
