"Spire London East Hospital has been serving the local population for several years, I, myself have been a patient here and have been inspired by the caring culture and highest possible standards."
I have been a NHS doctor for over 16 years and have trained all over London. My special interests are the management of type 2 diabetes in South Asian people and endocrine disorders of the pituitary, adrenal and thyroid glands. I also have an interest in women's health (PCOS, pregnancy and menopause).
I have regular radio programmes and host a weekly television show called 'Health Matters' on Sky 737 where I cover a variety of topics and take calls from viewers. My speciality and general medical experience mean I am able to handle and diagnose complex cases.
I am the Lead for Insulin Safety at Whipps Cross Hospital, which involves me delivering educational sessions to medical health professionals.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Dr Fareeha Rizvi at Spire include:

COVID-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service at Spire London East Hospital.

I am an East London resident and went to school and university locally. I therefore believe I am in an excellent position to deliver diabetes and endocrine services to the local population. I have 3 children and in our spare time we visit local markets, farms, shops and museums.
