I have been Consultant Hepatologist at the Royal London Hospital for the last 12 years with experience in all aspects of liver medicine. During this time I have led the regional hepatocellular carcinoma service and developed and led an outreach hepatology service to Queen's Hospital.
Liver problems often cause few or no symptoms until at an advanced stage. I focus on thorough investigation to detect liver disease early to reduce the risk of progression to serious problems.
I have developed novel liver cancer screening pathways in East London and worked with primary care to develop pathways to diagnose and screen for liver disease with general practitioners.
