I have been a consultant for over 22 years now at Whipps Cross and Barts Hospitals having qualified from Cambridge University and trained at Guys, The Royal London and UCH hospitals. I was Deputy Medical Director until 2023 and am currently Clinical Director for Whipps Cross Hospital Redevelopment.

I have been a National Clinical Champion for Diabetes and have appeared on ITV news, Good Morning Britain and Channel 5 discussing diabetes issues. I am also an advisor to the Daily Mail on various health issues.
