I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Spire Hartswood Hospital in Brentwood, Essex and Spire London East Hospital in Redbridge, Essex.

I specialise in Da Vinci Robotic Prostatectomy, in particular the nerve sparing techniques to preserve potency in men with early prostate cancer. Robotic prostatectomy is now the gold standard in prostate cancer surgery due to the excellent functional and cancer outcomes. I am the one of the very few surgeon in the UK experienced all three approaches for prostate cancer surgery - open, laparoscopic and robotic.

I am performing high volume of these operations robotically - more than 100 /year. In addition my practice includes diagnosis and treatment of early prostate cancer, performing MRI guided target precision biopsy of prostate and PSA testing. I also treat conditions like: blood in urine, urinary infection, male urinary symptoms, benign enlargement of prostate, kidney cysts, tumours, incontinence, kidney stones.

I am a designated Robotic surgeon at University College Hospital, London and part of complex pelvic surgery team. I have worked as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT) for the past 15 years. I lead the urologic cancer services and chair the urology cancer multidisciplinary team (MDT Chair).

I qualified at King Edward Memorial Hospital in 1987 and continued postgraduate urological training at the Royal Marsden, Charing Cross, Hammersmith and Royal Free Hospitals in London. I am a Fellow of European Robotic Urology Section (ERUS) and have received advanced robotic training at ORSI academy in Ghent, Belgium and Hamburg, Germany.
