I am a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Royal London and St Bartholomew's hospitals and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary's Medical School, University of London. I am the lead for minimal access spinal surgery. At Spire London East Hospital, Redbridge and Spire Hartswood Hospital, Brentwood, I offer the very best treatment and care for private patients from Essex, East London and the surrounding areas, and Berkshire.
I trained in general surgery in Glasgow and in neurosurgery in London (at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, St Bartholomew's and The Royal London Hospitals, and also Charing Cross Hospital).
I have been awarded several fellowships in neurosurgery, including international ones in spinal and cranial neurosurgery from Philadelphia, Toronto and France. I am also a previous winner of the prestigious Cutler surgery prize.
I teach and lecture both nationally and internationally and have over 40 key publications and book chapters in the field of neurosurgery.
