I completed my cardiology training in one of the UK’s reputable centre, Oxford and Yorkshire deaneries and in 2015, obtained CCT in general cardiology with interventional cardiology as my subspecialty.

I then accomplished my fellowship in advanced interventional/structural cardiology at one of the world’s most recognised centres, King’s College Hospital, London. I gained advanced expertise in cutting-edge cardiac structural intervention (keyhole procedures) including trans-catheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).

Currently I am a Consultant Cardiologist and the lead for catheterisation lab, working at Manchester University Hospitals (Manchester Royal Infirmary and Wythenshawe Hospital). I also hold an honorary position at the University of Manchester as an Honorary Senior Lecturer. As a well-trained cardiologist, I have the expertise and up to-date knowledge in all aspects of general and interventional cardiology.

My subspecialty skills are in complex coronary angioplasty including chronic total occlusion (CTO) as well as keyhole cardiac valve procedures.

Since appointed as consultant interventional cardiologist, I have been amongst the highest volume operators nationally in the field of coronary angioplasty/s with excellent outcomes.

I am the inventor of a number of novel cardiac devices and currently undertaking the research projects and planned animal phase of implanting innovative cardiac device in collaboration with University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University. I have published widely in the field of interventional and structural cardiology with several publications in international journals.

My top priority has always been to maintain first class, patient centred approach in order to guarantee the highest level of care in a timely manner.
