BSc (Hons), MBChB, MD
I studied medicine at the University of Manchester before training in cardiology in Liverpool.
I also worked at Hope Hospital, Wythenshawe Hospital and completed a Masters degree in cardiovascular science at the University College London’s (UCL) Hatter Cardiovascular Institute.
I completed my training at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital developing sub-specialty interests in coronary intervention and cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
I look after patients with all aspects of general cardiology problems with a specialist interest in diagnosing, treating and mitigating the risk of coronary artery disease.
I provide outpatient consultations with access to a wide range of non-invasive cardiac testing including cardiovascular computed tomography (CT) and MRI.
I also provide catheter lab services such as coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention (the implantation of stents in the heart's arteries).
I am a consultant cardiologist holding NHS posts at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital and the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. I work in general cardiology providing opinions and treatment to patients across the breadth of medical and surgical specialties.
