I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2014. Having completed my specialist training in the North West, I spent a year undertaking a specialist fellowship in hip and knee arthroplasty and pelvic and acetabular reconstruction at St George's Hospital, London.

On my return to the North West, I was appointed as a consultant at Wrightington Hospital, one of the five specialist centres for orthopaedics within England.

I work as a high volume hip and knee replacement surgeon, performing over 150 such procedures every year.

I also work as a member of the North West Pelvis and Acetabular Service, managing and treating patients referred for specialist treatment from centres all over the North West of England.

I am extremely keen on professional education and sit on the Specialist Training Committee for Orthopaedics in the North West. I also teach on a number of courses run locally, nationally and internationally, including courses on hip replacement surgery, revision hip replacement surgery and trauma.
