FRCS (Tr & Orth)
I completed my basic and higher surgical training at Merseyside, having successfully obtained the FRCS (Tr and Orth) in 2012. My skills and expertise in foot and ankle surgery are a culmination of fellowships of international repute: Foot and Ankle Fellowship, Institute of Foot and Ankle Reconstruction, Mercy Medical Centre, Baltimore USA and Limb Reconstruction Fellowship at Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
Being dual fellowship trained in foot and ankle surgery, I am experienced in ankle replacements, revision ankle replacements, correction of flat feet and high arched feet deformities, minimally invasive surgery for the foot and for the ankle, arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery, platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy, extra corporeal shockwave therapy, sports injuries, enhanced recovery regimes as well as bunion and lesser toe surgery.
I have also published my research widely in peer reviewed journals and presented my work at meetings both nationally and internationally. I am regularly invited as a contributing author for the Foot and Ankle Clinics of North America and I am faculty on National Foot and Ankle courses for specialty orthopaedic trainees.
