New MRI scanner at Spire Manchester Hospital

Spire Manchester Hospital is pleased to announce the delivery of a new modular 1.5T MRI scanner, further expanding the hospital's advanced imaging capabilities and improving the quality of care provided to patients. This strategic investment will allow for faster MRI scans, reduce waiting times, and increase capacity for contrast imaging, ensuring enhanced diagnostic services for patients across the region.

The new MRI scanner is set to be operational from 7 November 2024, marking an important milestone in the hospital’s commitment to delivering timely and effective healthcare. With this addition, Spire Manchester Hospital will be able to offer MRI appointments within 48 hours, significantly decreasing waiting lists and enhancing access to critical imaging services.
