I have more than 20 years' experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I have been Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Mid Yorks NHS Trust since 2009 and have wide experience in benign gynaecology. Additionally, I have practising privileges at Spire Methley Park and Spire Elland hospitals.
I have wide experience in benign gynaecology. I have a special interest in laparoscopic surgery, management of heavy periods including conservative surgeries for menorrhagia. My other interests are managing early pregnancy problems and menopausal problems. I am also an accredited Colposcopist regularly dealing with abnormal smears and irregular vaginal bleeding. I completed ‘Advanced Certificate in the Principles and Practice of Menopause Care’ in June 2022 and have been seeing women with menopause problems since then in NHS and private sector.
I keep myself updated with current literature by attending the courses and updating my knowledge.
I provide best evidence based practice to my patients. I regularly audit my work and the results are among the best in the country in achieving targets. Yearly patient satisfaction surveys have shown very high satisfaction with my care.
