I undertook basic undergraduate and postgraduate training in Ophthalmology from India.
I underwent training in the Midlands and higher surgical training in Liverpool. I further developed my sub-specialty interest in medical retina and uveitis by undergoing specialised fellowship at Cardiff and Bristol Eye Hospital.
I am particularly well qualified, having carried out more than 1,500 intravitreal injections for age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion and other retinal conditions. Additionally, I have performed in excess of 2,000 ophthalmic operations (including small-incision sutureless cataract/lens surgery).
I have presented and published in excess of 50 papers at national and international academic meetings and journal respectively including the prestigious Archives of Ophthalmology, British Journal of Ophthalmology and Eye.
