I was first appointed as a respiratory consultant in 2001 and have worked at spire murrayfield and wirral university teaching hospital since 2004. I am a fellow of the royal college of physicians and am the current president of the north west thoracic society. I act as an expert witness in asbestos-related lung problems and associated conditions.

I am happy to see private referrals with any chest / respiratory / breathing / lung disorder. My daily practice includes dealing with asthma, COPD, lung cancer, asbestos-related lung diseases, chronic cough, pneumonia, pleural disease, bronchiectasis, sarcoid and fibrotic lung diseases.

Please note I do require a GP referral for all new patients. This helps me understand the background to your problems better and speeds up my assessment.
