As a Consultant Dermatologist, I treat a vast array of skin and hair conditions, but my main passion is collaborating with patients who have inflammatory skin disease such as eczema, psoriasis, acne or rosacea to name just a few. Furthermore, assessment and management of skin lesions, including skin cancer, forms an essential cornerstone of my clinical practice.

I would consider myself to be personable and I genuinely enjoy seeing the improvement in patients quality of life once the appropriate treatment plan has been implemented. Fortunately, dermatology is a speciality with many safe and effective therapeutic options which makes it an extremely rewarding field to work in.

From a surgical perspective, I offer a variety of treatments for the removal of pre-cancerous/cancerous skin lesions as well as benign lesions such as cyst removal. Procedures include excision biopsy, curettage and cautery, shave biopsy and diagnostic punch biopsy.

To date I have performed thousands of skin biopsies and continue to operate on a weekly basis within the NHS. This includes the removal of skin cancers such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma.
