I am a Consultant Neurologist.
I studied medicine at the University of Adelaide, South Australia and graduated in 1983. After completing my basic physician’s training at Flinder Medical Centre in Adelaide, I began my training in neurology at Flinders Medical Centre and finished formal neurology training at the Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford UK in 1991.
After two years at the Montreal Neurological Institute doing basic molecular genetic research in epilepsy I completed a two year clinical and research fellowship in epilepsy and EEG at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.
I moved to the UK in 1996 to take up my current position.
