I have been a consultant dermatologist at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) since 1996. In addition to seeing patients with general dermatological problems I am also responsible for the phototherapy service and the Chair of the Specialist Skin MDT at NNUHFT.
I developed special interests in blistering skin disorders and psoriasis during my time at St Mary's Hospital in London.
I graduated from Glasgow University in 1983 and subsequently completed my general professional training in internal medicine before entering higher specialist training in dermatology. I was registrar in dermatology at Glasgow Royal Infirmary for three years. In 1991 I was appointed to the post of Senior Registrar in dermatology at St Mary's Hospital, London. In 1999 I was awarded the Degree of MD for my research on dermatitis herpetiformis.
