I trained in the SE Thames region and qualified in general medicine and gastroenterology. I spent five years at King's College Hospital Liver Unit, a world renowned centre for liver disease, including my research which was in the management of severe alcoholic liver disease.
My main clinical interests are the investigation of abnormal liver function tests, the management of chronic liver disease, the complications of alcoholism, and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP.
