I am a physician at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and have been working at Spire Norwich Hospital since 1996. I am interested in all aspects of gastroenterology and have a large practice in inflammatory bowel disease.
I have established the bowel cancer screening programme in Norwich and am responsible for rolling the programme out across the East of England.
I am responsible for delivery of the endoscopy programmes in Norwich and monitoring of quality and patient safety.
I also hold responsibility for running the East Anglian endoscopy training courses for postgraduate doctors and am a national assessor for quality standards in endoscopy units.
Research interests: Coeliac disease, colonic disease - cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.

I have a young family who love sporting activities and am a regular visitor of Carrow Road and Wymondham Rugby Club. I enjoy country sporting pursuits and my wife and I run a small holding in South Norfolk.
