"Spire Healthcare is a pioneer in the concept of healthcare. All the facilities at Spire Norwich Hosptial are brilliant, and the staff are dedicated to each patient's treatment."
I have worked as a General Practitioner (GP) for over 14 years, acquiring considerable experience in all walks of General Practice. I have been based in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area since 2007. I have a calm, polite and a professional patient-centred manner and can provide consultations for all areas of General Practice. My areas of special interest are preventive health, men’s health, women’s health and managing long-term conditions such as diabetes and blood pressure.
As a Private GP based at Spire Norwich Hospital, I can deal effectively and promptly with consultations by ordering any further tests and investigations if needed, and also by having the convenience to refer to consultants and specialists based at the Hospital if required.
My consultation is for 30 minutes and I do offer a second opinion on any aspect of primary care, diagnosis or treatment that patients may have queries with.
I have been a GP Partner since 2009, and also a GP trainer and educator, supervising and training soon-to-be GPs. I have formidable experience, having been a GP covering roles in day time and also in the Out of hours setting. I have had the fortune and brilliant opportunity to do my GP specialist training in the Broadlands GP Training scheme based at James Paget Hospital. After qualifying as a GP, I have worked in Gorleston at Gorleston Medical Centre, which after a merger with nearby surgeries in the area has become The Beaches Medical Centre.
I am also a former Honorary Lecturer for Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia.
